2:00pm – 3:30pm ~ Session 3

Kadampa Buddhism is becoming increasingly popular as a clear and practical spiritual path for the modern person; its teachings and practices are derived from the unbroken, pure tradition of authentic Buddhist masters Atisha and Je Tsongkhapa. This living tradition has as its cornerstone a very blessed and powerful meditation practice entitled ‘Heart Jewel’ which combines the profound wisdom, universal compassion, and spiritual power we need to make swift, easy, and genuine progress along the spiritual path.

In this special day course, Gen Kelsang Sanden, Resident Teacher at Vancouver KMC, will explain these beautiful and profound prayers and meditations and guide us through a session of the practice. Through this, we can gain a deeper familiarity and understanding of the practice so that we can engage more profoundly with it on our own or at the Centre.
