If we wish to lead the happy life we long for, we must learn how to transform our mind. Modern Buddhism presents the meditation and positive thinking techniques we need to achieve this. At this event, open to everyone, Gen-la Khyenrab will explain the methods that free us from negative emotions, making joy and happiness our everyday reality. Transform your life in 2016.

Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab, international Meditation Teacher and retired General Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU, is a modern Buddhist monk dedicated to helping people from all walks of life attain lasting happiness through developing inner peace, compassion and wisdom. Gen-la is deeply respected throughout the world for his powerful teachings and experience of unifying Buddha’s teachings with his busy daily life.

Refunds, less a $2 booking fee, can be given for cancellations made up to 48 hours before the event.

We are a registered, non-profit, charitable organization.
All class fees and donations are used to support the spiritual activities of Bodhichitta Buddhist Centre.

Do I have to be a Buddhist to attend?
No. All are welcome. Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they subscribe to another faith, or to none.

Do I need to have experience in meditation to attend this event?
No. All you need is the wish to improve yourself and the quality of your life.

What kind of seating is available?
All seating will be on chairs.

What do I need to bring to class?
Nothing in particular; however, if you wish to take notes bring a pen and notepad.

How should I dress for class?
No special clothing is required. We recommend wearing something comfortable.

I don’t have a credit card or I am not ready to commit, can I pay at the door?
Yes. The cost will be $15. Please bring cash.
