Introduction to Buddhist Meditation:
Basic concepts and practices for a happier, more fulfilled life

From the depths of our heart, we want to be happy and live a meaningful life. How can we do this? Buddha’s teachings provide us with a clear diagnosis of our obstacles, methods for overcoming these obstacles, and the “technology” for applying these methods: meditation.

During these meditation classes, you will gain an understanding of how true happiness arises and how understanding one’s mind is key to a meaningful life. Also to be explored is how developing a kind and compassionate heart creates a sense of happiness and well-being. The teachings and meditation will encourage us to take these practices into our everyday lives.

Those new to Buddhism will find that these classes are structured to help them gain an understanding, step by step. Those who have been studying for some time will find this an excellent opportunity for review and clarification of the foundational concepts and practices.

Drop-in Classes. Join at any time.

Everyone is welcome to learn more about meditation and positive thinking.
Each class includes a brief teaching, guided meditation, and time for questions. Seating is on chairs or cushions and no special clothing or pre-registration is required.
