EXPLORE THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF MEDITATION
How to become the positive, peaceful and loving person you always wanted to be.

In our busy lives, we often don’t see the connection between our state of mind and our daily experiences. When our mind is peaceful, our world is joyful but when our mind is disturbed or agitated we easily experience problems, stress, and difficulties. This course, divided into 6 sections of 3 classes each, will provide practical methods and meditations for improving our minds and transforming our lives into a blissful journey towards lasting peace and happiness.

Drop in for $15 per class
$40 for 3 sessions (Each “Section”)
Free for Centre Supporters.

Section 6: OVERCOMING ATTACHMENT AND SELF-GRASPING – May 20, 27, June 3 with Senior Teacher, Debbi Jones

Topics we will explore include:
• All our unpleasant feelings come from attachment and self-grasping
• How attachment destroys our happiness
• Developing wisdom realizing emptiness

$15 drop in or ,by preregistration, $40 for any 3 classes

Each class includes guided meditation, a teaching, a tea break and time for questions. Seating is on chairs and no special clothing is required.

We are a registered, non-profit, charitable organization.
All class fees and donations go toward supporting the spiritual activities of Bodhichitta Buddhist Centre.

Do I have to be a Buddhist to benefit from meditation?
No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind. Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they subscribe to another faith, or to none.

Do I need to have experience in meditation or Buddhism to attend the classes?
No. All you need is the wish to improve yourself and the quality of your life.

What do I need to bring to class?
Nothing in particular, however if you wish to take notes bring a pen and notepad.

How should I dress for class?
No special clothing is required. We recommend wearing something comfortable
